Philanthropy & Community Service

Huntsman Cancer Foundation

Our philanthropic partner is the Sigma Chi Huntsman Cancer Foundation. The Huntsman Cancer Foundation (HCF) was founded by the Jon and Karen Huntsman family in 1995. Thanks to the support of our community of donors and fundraisers, advancements at Huntsman Cancer Institute pave the way for new clinical trials, safer and more effective treatments, and hope for an end to cancer. Our national fraternity currently has a $31 milllion pledge to donate for cancer research. Check out the foundations website here.

Community Involvement

We are large supporters of philanthropic involvement within the drake and larger Des Moines community. Whether it is through participating in Greek life philanthropic events or doing community service, we do out part in helping the community.
